Alicia serves as the Executive Director of Legendary Coasts of Eastern Newfoundland, bringing a deep commitment to community development, tourism growth, and the preservation of the region’s unique coastal heritage. With a strong background in leadership and collaboration, she works closely with local partners, businesses, and stakeholders to promote sustainable tourism experiences that showcase the natural beauty, culture, and history of eastern Newfoundland. Alicia leads initiatives that enhance the visibility, professionalism, and competitiveness of LCEN members within the tourism industry. She oversees support services for operators, coordinating experience assessments, content collection, and product development, while working closely with partners at Newfoundland & Labrador Tourism to ensure members are well-positioned to attract and engage travellers. She also spearheads special projects such as LCEN’s regional wayfinders, and organizes and delivers workshops and webinars that foster professional development and collaboration across the industry. Acting as a key liaison between members and provincial tourism stakeholders, Alicia ensures operators have access to the resources, opportunities, and tools they need to grow sustainably and effectively in the tourism marketplace.
